Tim Brando, host of CBS College Football Today, tweeted Saturday: "The handling of the Ohio St. hiring of Urban Meyer (which is happening) is as poorly handled as any I've ever witnessed. We're not that dumb."
Rich Eisen of the NFL Network tweeted: "All the Ohio State fans banking on Urban Meyer: I sure hope he's solved all his health issues. That's the reason why he left Florida. Right?"
Urban Meyer was one of the best coaches in college football before taking time off because of health issues. He proved that by winning two national championships and making other BCS Bowl games in his career.
He had talented players that won him championships, but he was the one that created them.
Rumor has it that Urban Meyer will be named the head coach of Ohio State football on Sunday—if that holds true he will make the program an elite one.
Meyer is one of the best coaches in college football; he won two national championships with the Florida Gators during his time with the school.
Meyer then retired at an early age and spent a few years away from coaching while working as an analyst for ESPN.

Meyer, who coached Florida to two national championships, asked off ESPN this weekend. Neither he nor ESPN specified why Meyer begged off his college football studio assignment Saturday.
Meyer, who's also been rumored as a successor to the fired Joe Paterno at Penn State, is also dealing with his father passing away recently.
